The formation of Marzia Karim Foundation is inspired by extraordinary life of Marzia Karim. Born in Bangladesh, Marzia Karim is the daughter of Hosne Ara Begum and Dr. A H M Karim, former Director General of secondary and higher education of Bangladesh. Marzia Karim received education and training in the United Kingdom and Australia, and she maintains a reputation of being an excellent early childhood educator. She inspired many by her sincerity and lively personality, and through her aspiration to help those in need. She remained impeccably good natured and amazingly resilient in the face of life’s challenges. Her patience, endurance and steadfast faith will be honored and remembered through the work of Marzia Karim Foundation. The Foundation will be committed to support people in need of access to healthcare, education and clean water, and to share new knowledge that inspires positive change.
Enhance quality of life of people of underprivileged communities particularly but not exclusively of people living in selected northern and southern districts in Bangladesh

The Marzia Karim Foundation supports health screening and awareness for prevention of chronic diseases by fostering collaboration with medical practitioners, community groups and the private sector.
